Date: 2014-09-30 11:56 am (UTC)We have a lawn in our summer house garden - with lots of clover, labia and other great stuff growing in it so it's not a monoculture desert - but only because we need it for croquet and large al-fresco lunches. It's mowed as and when needed, though - which means that at present it hasn't been mowed since September 2013... When, I wonder, does it change status from "un-kempt lawn" to "charming meadow"?
