Not Today, Thankyou

I think it's a missed opportunity- a victory for play-it safe over suck-it and-see. But never mind, change is coming anyway.

I'm beginning to think you're determined to see the utter destruction of everything. Yes, I get you hate the Coalition, but the ref wasn't about giving them a bloody nose. And for what it's worth, for all your carping about the establishment, you've yet to come up with a solution that works.

I supported the creation of a Scottish parliament. I thought a sovereign parliament would serve that country better than rule from Westminster. As it happens we won't now discover if I was right or wrong.

I quite like the proposal for more devolution for the English regions. And- golly gosh- that's a Tory idea.

Yeah, its amazing, but the Tories do have good ideas occasionally. Especially if it means that the English get more say over our own affairs.

We're in agreement here.

Well, that's a first. I know I'm a heartless Conservative who should probably kill herself according to the Left, but sometimes we do have good ideas.

Quite so.

For the record the only political party I've ever belonged to is The Greens- and I handed in my membership card after a year because they were so effing useless.

Don't even get me started on the Greens. The don't stand for anything - nor do the Lib Dems. I think the 3-way party has been killed. Its back to a 2-party system now.

Definitely a missed opportunity. If I were a Scotsman I would have not only voted for it, but would have been an activist ... and it takes a lot for me to be an activist.

I'm sure the issue isn't dead yet, though ...

I think we're in for a period of political ferment in Britain- and elsewhere.
