In Transit
Aug. 18th, 2014 08:51 amEverything fitted- and there was room for more. We stopped at Alice's on the way down. Ivy is speaking in sentences and knows lots of nursery rhymes. Alice would like her dressing table back- it's a vintage piece her mother and I gave her when she was a child- so we'll have to bring it down on our next trip.
How many more trips will we need to make? I'd like them to be as few as possible. Two perhaps? I wonder about getting an auction house to come in and clear out everything we don't want. That way we might even make a little money on the deal.

Date: 2014-08-19 11:56 am (UTC)It's surprising how much Stuff™ can be fit into an ordinary car. As I've realised on a couple occasions, the last move back here particularly. Whew! (Still, we did get it all done, and just in time to enjoy a well-earned dinner at the Salamander, one of my haunts back there. They kindly even kept the kitchen open for us =:)
