More Pictures My Parents Took

PICT0032 - Copy

My grandmother and me at Batemans- Rudyard Kipling's gaff in Sussex. She and I are/were both ardent Kiplingites. (She actually got to meet him!) The date is going to be late 1960s.

PICT0047 - Copy

My sister, my mother and me. I'm in my school uniform so it can't be any later than 1968.

PICT0049 - Copy

My sister in her new school uniform. Ain't she cute!  (you said you were keen to see these, Jenny!)

Oh my goodness!!! I love seeing them, thank you. Keep the less scenic/cute ones for just me to see though - :) Lovely one of our Granny!

I could probably send you the file. Ailz would know about that :)

Thoroughly enjoying these! They remind me of a show or two - the first, Doctor Who, whilst the second is more Smiley's People: the Early Years. =:)

(I'd say the red needs reining in a bit on the second especially, the third too - not that color calibration is a strong point for me, given my color perception's a bit wonky anyway, courtesy of a weakness in red/green)

The colour is only ever going to be approximate. The originals were very bleached- or rather blued out. I'll have another look at #2. I liked the way the light was being filtered through the red umbrella, but perhaps I overdid it.

That's a wonderful picture. No later than 1968, you're still very recognizable in the second.

I think the second picture is earlier than the first, but I'm not entirely sure.
