we found a yearling calf
prancing down the road
head and tail high

out on an adventure
down the road we found his farmer
repairing his road
with the other cattle supervising.

i know who did it
and he was having a great time
we had already called the deputy
to let them know which way he'd gone
as we were going out of town

hope they find their poor farmer
who's probably trying to fix things

so much fun when the young ones come to call.
happy break for the grass in the other field day !
