Whodunnit And How?

I found a dead mouse in the rabbits' shed yesterday. It was lying out in the open, with no mark on it that I could see. I suppose the rabbits must have killed it, though I'm not sure how. A kick from those powerful hind legs perhaps?

well. when they get hold of something poisonous, they usually just stop where they are. I know YOU wouldn't poison them but maybe someone put out mouse poison...or, I could just shut up.

Our nearest neighbour is a field away, so, no, I don't think that's the explanation.
