Creaking Door
The bedroom door has started to creak. I sprayed it with WD40 last night and this got rid of the initial "Eeeeeee" but not the final "Urk".

Perhaps the WD40 will work its way deeper into the hinge and the "Urk" will gradually disappear.
Alternatively, perhaps your door is haunted? :)

Now that sounds just like our kitchen door until the WD40 worked its way well into the hinges.

We'll see if the noise disappears with use....

Try using some cooking oil and really coating the hinges. I've found it actually works better than good old WD40...
Of course, if it's haunted, that's not going to help. Hahaha.

Thanks for the hint.
If the WD40 doesn't work I'll try the oil.
