Erm?

We got a parcel this morning addressed to my father- who has been dead ten years- containing a bottle of industrial sealant none of us had ordered. The delivery note said it was one of a consignment of three items and had been paid for by cheque.

I haven't been able to think of an entirely satisfactory explanation.

Wow. Was it something that he might have ordered while he was still alive? Maybe it took them this long to fill the order.

They're things he might have wanted, but...

Perhaps the company unearthed a very VERY old order from your dad and thought it was newer? I think I'd call the company and inquire. Very weird, though.

Stranger things have happened...

We have contacted the supplier and they've said they'll get back to us.

Where's Sherlock when you need him?

Out on a case, I suppose.

Crikey. An old order that was mislaid...or someone got their hands on an old cheque book. :/

Perhaps the supplier will be able to tell us.

I wonder if we'll get an explanation.
