Thank You, Whoever You Are

Ailz couldn't find the pencil sharpener. We looked all over the work table and finally gave up.

A couple of minutes later Ailz spotted it-  right under our noses- in full view- on a part of the table we thought we'd searched thoroughly.

Faeries. Happens to me all of the time.

Or it could be a spirit. There's a mischievous one (I think I know who it is but I'm not saying) who hangs around our family.

I agree...fairies or a spirit.

It's a common experience- but so difficult to verify. There's always the chance the thing was there all the time and you somehow overlooked it.

Definitely a ghost. That happens to me from time to time. I KNOW a thing is not in a certain place, have looked there several times, look everywhere else, then go to the spot and there it is, big as life. I can almost hear the spectral tittering when I see it. Ghosts can be such assholes. LOL.

They just want us to know they're around.

Funny thing: it happens to older people more often than younger people. Either we're more attuned to the Other World as we get closer to our destination, or we no longer see everything that's right under our noses.

Or maybe it's because the older we get the more ghosts we have hanging around.
