Is that the view from your mother's house?
It's lovely!

Not a million miles from me. Certainly a lovely part of the country.

Ah, definitely not such a bad neck of the woods. ^_^ That’s around where the Eight Bells is, ne? A pub I’d’ve gone to a bit more often, had there been a bus service more than something like twice a week. (And walking there seemed like a dicy proposition) Still, it made for a great after-work venue on occasion, especially in the warmer months, out in the beer garden, with that kind of view to enjoy.

Looking like THAT right now??? Stunning. Makes me wish I was there... (How cold -- or not cold -- is it there?)

What a view.

No, it's the view from the back of the stables where my mother keeps one of her horses.

The nearest big town is Eastbourne.

That's right. We had lunch in the Eight Bells yesterday.

It was a small window of fine weather. An hour or so later it had clouded over. I guess the temperature was a few degrees above freezing.

Thank you

There was a big heap of brushwood piled up against the back of a barn and I had to to negotiate my way around it to get the shot I wanted.
