I checked the freezer last night and was taken aback to see how much food we have stashed away. I'd forgotten what squirrels we are. The house is terribly untidy; the people who live here really need to get a grip. I woke at 6.00 with a headache and couldn't get back to sleep; why so early? There was nothing I needed to do.

We're at home only it feels like we're in a holiday let- and who takes holidays in Oldham? The sky is overcast and they say it's going to snow.

It must be very disorienting. Maybe you can get up for more frequent trips home.

To begin with we were coming home every month- and it felt like we weren't settled anywhere- so this time we extended our time in Kent to two months. I don't think there is a way to do this comfortably.
