Atos And Apples

We completed and posted the Atos questionnaire. I'm happy to see the back of it. Ailz does her best to ignore the things that are wrong with her and filling the form in forced her to take stock of them all. It was depressing.

This has been a good year for apples. We asked Matthew to harvest our crop and it took him all morning. Among the things he found to store them in are three wheelbarrows. (Why on earth does my mother own three wheelbarrows?) He has apple trees himself and is taking a truckload of his own fruit to Owletts Farm to be juiced.

It's always depressing when one has to take stock of one's health issues. I'm hoping the assessment goes well, as it should!

We don't live in a good climate for apples (too hot and dry) but even our little tree had quite a few this year.

Thanks.

There was a story in the paper about English apples finally making it into the shops (they're late apparently) and I thought "well, I won't be buying any of those."

taking stock always tends to send me into a depressive state.

I live in a part of the country where LOTS of people grow apples. Last year was dismal, this year we have LOTS of them.

Three wheelbarrows?

It's remarkable how much one can put up with if only one chooses to disregard it.

Indeed.
