Unlike poor old Tim Henman Andy Murray has always looked like somebody who might just win Wimbledon someday. Who'd have though, though, that he'd do it in straight sets? The target now has to be the number one slot- and a few more majors along the way. The era of Federer-Nadal seems to be over (though I would count either of them out yet) and the era of Djokovic-Murray beginning. It's odd that there don't seem to be any young challengers coming up over the brow of the hill.

Tim Henman reminds me of Eddie the Eagle -

What a match that was, yesterday. And now, of course the press is saying that the Serb was 'still tired from his match on Friday' and that's why he had so many unforced errors etc.

It was v. classy of him to say he was proud to be a part of history.

Djokovic did look tired and clumsy, but that's how it goes. On another day he might have won. Sportsmen and women aren't androids.

Murray was the better man on the day. That's all anyone ever can be.

Yes, I agree, Djokovic's speech was generous and dignified.
