Going Soon

It's May. One shouldn't be shivering when one goes to bed.

Ivy is almost walking. She has lots of words. She pointed at a picture of Ian Brown and said, "Daddy." Alice says they'll all come down to visit us in Kent next month

I hung Dot's new curtains for her. They're lighter and cheerier than the old ones. It goes without saying that she doesn't want us moving.

We filled bag after bag after bag. I'm not sure we're going to get them all in the car. The rabbits and their gear will fill most of the back seat.

I got up early. The field mice were still stirring in the shed where I keep the bird seed.

Goodbye, mice!

"Change is good for the soul." That's something my father used to say. Yes, dear ghost, but it hurts.

I didn't comment on your last post as I was reading in a rush, but best of luck. I hope it's a move that works out well for everyone, rabbits included.

I have only now caught up on your move and the reason for it. I hope it will go well for all of you involved! Having moved back to Germany also to assist my mother in the care of my father, I know what it means to have get used to another person“s rhythms after many years of listening to the own ones, mostly..! I am curious how the rabbits like it there :)

I must have missed your post about moving. call me crazy, but I love moving and find it exciting. been in this house 4 1/2 years and feel like I could lose my mind. its a long time for me. hope to get out of ohio by the end of the year. best of luck in your move.

How far is it from Oldham to your mother's place in Kent? And will you be giving up your Oldham house? (My unsolicited advice -- not yet!)

Change, even though it has lots of positive aspects, IS hard. Will you be able to stay in your Oldham house sometimes?
I can just imagine Dot's reaction...how does Ailz feel about all this?

Change can hurt a lot...that's my own experience, anyway.
Hoping the move goes smoothly!

Yes, dear ghost, but it hurts.

I hope your move works out for everyone. You and Ailz included.

Travel well.

(And I'm with you on May. It's the same way here. What gives?)

What an adventure! I hope it is a good experience. Best wishes with the new routine. Internet will help enormously. :)
