In the same week that the benefit cuts come into effect they've announced that the Queen is getting a rise of £5 million to help her maintain the Royal Household.
Maybe she could consider cutting back instead like the rest of us. What with Ray losing £14 a week because of the bedroom tax (even though they don't have any one-bedroom flats available) and the other benefit cuts, if I wasn't there, he'd be living in a flat with no heat, no telly, no phone and eating a LOT of noodles.
Well, that's what you get for being lazy layabouts and not going out there and getting a proper job at Burger King or something! Seriously, it's really bludgeoning so many people who need it the least.
It would be far more acceptable if we really were in it together- if the millionaires weren't getting a tax cut and the Queen a pay rise. The poor didn't cause this financial crisis but they're the ones who're being expected to pay for it.
