24 Hour Break

poliphiloWe stayed at the Miraj Hotel in Ashbourne on a Spring Break which cost £40 per person half board. We chillaxed with Ivy and her parents, taking in a session in the hotel pool and a large evening meal.
We stopped at Leek on the way home. My brother and sister in law once thought of moving to Leek. When the estate agent had finished laughing over how little they had to spend he told them they could afford a chicken coop in the town just so long as they didn't want the chickens to go with it.
Because of the snow we avoided the scenic route through the High Peak, but today, with snow on the ground and the sun shining out of an almost clear blue sky, even the low road was spectacular.
