A Cold Snap

The temperature has fallen below freezing for the first time this winter. I had to scrape frost off the car windows this morning and break ice on the rabbits' water bowl.

Freezing here too - thick on grass. I hate to think what it must be like where the floods have gone down - frozen mud and icy roads -

It's 61F here, and drizzling. This is a cold snap for us, as well. (Don't you hate it when Californians brag about their weather?). Anyway, not bragging, just that this is unusual for us, as well.

Don't you expect the weather to be a bit colder in November? Or is the legend true- and the sun shines all year round in California?
