"Books Are A Load Of Crap"

Ruth was in a charity shop and this bloke came in and was looking to buy books off them by weight. Apparently secondhand books these days (unless they're rare first editions of the early Harry Potters or something like that) are good for nothing but pulping. Don't take your old paperbacks to charity shops; they don't really want them.

I concur. I often, about nine times out of ten, buy all my paperbacks from charity shops , and often resell them online.

I buy fewer books these days. We've already got a houseful; we don't need any more.
