poliphiloIt was very noisy today. Khalid came and explained why the smoke alarms were beeping in tandem, but it was all technobabble to me.
Nevertheless, we now have a fully wired kitchen- and I intend- shortly- to go and fry bacon on the new hob. We also have a new loft ladder. Harry and Dougie had a devil of a job installing it- and have made a terrible mess of the ceiling.
