So when Kath wrote out of the blue from Glastonbury to say, among other things, that she'd ditched Howie and we wrote back with our news and she never replied, it could have been that she was fishing to see if I was on the market too.

And I thought she saw me as a father figure.

It's only taken me eight years to finally work it out.
