The Blessings Of Censorship

I asked AI to make me a picture of a rich old man on his yacht. I intended satire. I wanted him to be physically unattractive and have a young blonde companion.

AI told me my prompt contained "forbidden" words.

So I whittled it down.

And it still contained "forbidden" words.

So I eliminated the blonde companion. On reflection I think the forbidden words were "very thin". I can understand why.

And I was left with this....

.

....Which isn't satirical at all. Or if it is the satire is very subtle, elliptical, a matter of perception....

And this is a beneficial, if unintended, consequence of censorship- that it makes the creator refine their first thoughts. The first thoughts may be crude. The second thoughts will be less so.

I no longer despise my little old man. I feel for him. Is he happy? I hope so, but I doubt it.
