Exercising Discrimination
I'm watching a video on aliens and the deep state (as I do) but this dude seems a little far out even for me. Or not so much far out as melodramatic. Still, once you've realised that the universe is really, really weird how do you separate really really weird from stupid? Then dude comes a little bit more down to earth and starts talking about things that can be checked- and about which I know a thing or two- and first he says that the Count de St Germain used to have a parlour trick where he closed two diamonds in his fist and sqeezed them into one big diamond which- having read a lot about the Count- I'm pretty sure is a stunt he never performed, then goes on to call Voltaire a "great inventor" and Voltaire's satirical fantasy Minimegas the first ever Science fiction story- neither of which is the case- and I come to the conclusion that dude doesn't put such a very high premium on accuracy....
