Keeping Out Of The Way
Yesterday was viewing day. We took ourselves off the premises and let the estate agent get on with it. We had lunch at Woodies- the new veggie cafe in Paddock Wood (where the high street seems to be thriving in spite of Covid)- then drove down onto Romney Marsh. I stopped off at the tiny church in Ebony (a hamlet so insignificant it isn't even named on the road map I use) which is bucking the general trend and- having been closed- is now hosting regular services. They had a carol service scheduled for later that afternoon. Afterwards there was Wittersham (see previous post).
We parked up at St Mary's Bay- and I walked down the beach. I thought of taking my shoes and socks off and getting my feet wet but didn't. Writing now from the comfort of a centrally heated room I rather wish I had....
The estate agent says he'll ring tomorrow with a progress report.
