poliphilo | New Neighbours?

We've been hearing quacking noises around the property and thinking it had to be the pheasants having an off day, but this morning I came across a duck and a drake waddling about in the dampest part of the lower field- a few yards away from my silly little pond. I did my best to suggest to them that I wasn't the least bit interested and they responded by settling down in the marsh and making like they were at home.
