A Correction
I got my wires crossed.
In December 2003 Cheney (look, I've learned how to spell his name) took part in a "canned" hunt, which involved the shooting of hundreds of pen-raised birds (partridge, mallard, skeet.) These "canned hunting" operations are condemned by the Humane Society of the United States.
The infamous quail shoot wasn't "canned".
So my last post telescoped two separate events.
