When she gets stuck on someone's name, she mentions facts from their art and/or their life, just as you were doing with Kelley and Jackson and Reeves in your post, and I figure it out. It only seems to affect recall, not recognition. It's not like you wouldn't know who DeForest Kelley was if someone else said his name.
