Conkers And Acorns

 When we were in Highgate the other day I picked up a couple of high-toned conkers with a view to planting them on the farm. I did the planting this afternoon and have already forgotten where I put one of them. While I was wandering round the field looking for places where a chestnut tree would look good I picked up several acorns - and planted them too. I don't suppose we'll be around to see the trees come up- if they ever do, but that's not important.

I'm not sure I fully understand the rationale for any of this...

I've kept one acorn back. I'm going to plant it in pot and take it with us when we move.
