I catch myself feeling guilty.
Why?
Because I'm reading Patricia Highsmith's Ripley books- and she makes you see everything through his eyes and he's so simpatico that if you're not concentrating on being yourself- if for example you're doing something impersonal like brushing your teeth and letting your mind free float- you may briefly forget that it wasn't actually you who murdered Dickie Greenleaf...
