Mental Aberrations
1.Some things fell from the ceiling; they were either birdshit or aliens. I decided I would investigate properly once I woke up. In the meantime I had them safely stored on my computer- all except for the particular thing that had landed behind the sofa.
2. I don't know why film of a street scene in St Emilion should bring tears to my eyes. Am I remembering that holiday in my childhood, or was I once a Cathar or a troubadour- or both in successive lifetimes- or is it simply that I love Toulouse Lautrec (the street was one he'd lived in as a youngster)? Whatever the reason, I've always had a thing about the south of France- not the Riviera- decidedly not the Riviera- but the hinterland- Auvergne, Provence, Dordogne- the Languedoc. I can feel my eyes prickling as I write.
