The Shrine On The Hill
I dreamed I was going to the shrine on the hill. My first wife was with me. She complained incessantly. When I asked her to stop she threw stones at me. I went on alone.
The path went up through woods. At one point I was climbing vertically.
The shrine is housed in a log cabin. I knelt. The air inside shuddered with spiritual energy. Or maybe that was just the extractor fan. I expected some sort of revelation. It didn't come. The custodian was reading the Bible. He asked me if what he was reading was true and I told him it wasn't. We settled down to discuss theology.
